The Walsh biulding in Lewes was the A&P gorcery store, the Rose and Crown pub, and is now jerry's Seafood Restaurant.

This poster personally knows three credible persons who had remarkable and difficult to explain experiences there.

Two men were in the bar at closing time, one bartender and a dishwasher. Both were alchohol free at the tiime. They heard "Sweet Georgia Brown" being whistled in the space between them and no one was there. They ruled out stereo, noise from outside etc.

A lady was closing one night and came out of the office behind the bar to find a chair rocking back and forth violently. Nobody else was there. This lady, a respected bouncer in her own right, ran out in fear leaving the money out and door unlockecd.

The current manager has on numverous occasions heard movement int the dining room and at the bar when he was alone in the establishment. He has been there for a decade. I was with him one night when we heard somebody sit at the end of the bar.

It would be interesting to investigate this place and determine if there is any paranormal activity. It is widely believed to be haunted by many who have worked there.
